Yes, I know I said I would try and blog more often, but as is so often the case, my life got in the way.
However since July I have submitted my 16950 word dissertation on the subject of Libraries and Librarians in the contemporary novel: do modern novels continue to perpetuate the stereotypical image of the profession? The diss was a lot more difficult than I thought it was going to be - somehow I think I thought it was just going to be an extended essay. It wasn't. At the moment I am vowing never again - but never say never. Maybe if something interesting comes along. Or if the diss goes well...? I don't know. We'll have to wait and see. I won't hear anything until April anyway. Fingers crossed.
